KFed files for primary custody

Kevin Federline has reportedly filed a court order to show cause for primary physical custody of his two sons with ex-wife Britney Spears. The papers were filed in LA Superior Court earlier today. When the former couple's divorce was finalized two weeks ago, 50/50 custody was agreed to, but a source close to Federline hints he is worried about Spears exposing Sean Preston and Jayden James to "unnecessary risk." The would-be rapper's attorney "hopes to get Kevin primary custody."

Scary Spice secretly wed in June

Spice Girl Melanie Brown pulled off secret celebrity wedding, reportedly marrying music producer Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas in June. According to a marriage license filed in Clark County, the couple wed on June 6. "Regarding the marriage, Mel and Stephen have known each other for many years and were great friends first," said Brown's rep. "Now they are deeply in love. The two are very happy together." In a recent interview, Brown described her new husband as "a really good friend and good support to me during my pregnancy. He's a really sweet guy."

JLo wins lawsuit against her ex

Jennifer Lopez is nearly $545,000 richer thanks to a lawsuit against her first husband, Ojani Noa. Lopez filed suit against Noa, claiming his plans to write a tell-all book were in violation of a previous lawsuit settlement preventing him from revealing private information about their relationship. A court-ordered arbitrator decided on the damages in April, which include $200,000 plus legal fees, and also awarded a permanent injunction against Noa barring him from "criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement" to Lopez. Noa was also directed to give his ex-wife copies of all materials related to the book. The arbitration decision became public earlier this week when Lopez's lawyer filed papers asking a judge to confirm the award. A hearing is scheduled for September 5. The unpublished, ghostwritten book reportedly alleges that Lopez had several affairs while married to Noa, including one with her present husband Marc Anthony.

Kelly and Kim cancel reality show

The Kelly Osbourne/Kimberley Stewart reality show has been quashed - by its stars. E! originally reported that the show was canned producers, who wanted the famous offspring to spend time with "real people" doing "real jobs" and make fun of them in the process. According to a source, however, Osbourne decided not to sign on after she saw the first episode, calling it "demeaning to other people and juvenile."

Jack White and model Karen Elson welcomed their second child, a son, yesterday. Henry Lee White is brother to 15-month-old Scarlett Teresa. "The new child and his mother are both feeling healthy and happy," White's rep said in a statement. The couple wed in 2005. "The latest man to fall into the hard partying pop star's orbit is Matt Encinias, a 21-year-old college student... In just five hours, Encinias went from being an extra in her latest video to pounding drinks and locking lips with the single mom of two in a rooftop pool at LA's Standard Downtown hotel. Although Spears was expecting her two young sons to be dropped off at her Beverly Hills home at noon (as per her custody arrangement with their father, Kevin Federline), the singer had arranged to have the pool reopened at 2 a.m. for the exclusive use of her group, which included then-assistant Shannon Funk and some hand-picked male extras from her video shoot. 'Britney was the first one to undress, and then everyone else followed,' Encinias tells Us. 'I turned around and saw that she was topless and she had fake tattoos of flowers on her nipples from the shoot... I was told all she wanted to do that night was kiss a boy,' the 5'10" California native continues. 'And that's what she did. Mission accomplished.' It was when the alcohol started running low that an inebriated Spears, 25, suggested a game of Truth or Dare. Wynonna Judd on life after her husband's arrest

Wynonna Judd has spoken publicly for the first time about her husband's arrest last March for aggravated sexual assault and battery against a minor under the age of 13. "My first response when it happened was, I am a mother first and foremost," the country singer tells Ladies' Homes Journal in its September issue. "I knew what I was getting into and I tried to change it," she says of her marriage to D.R. Roach. "I knew that both Roach and I had issues with addiction when I married him. I know my life. I know the people I chose, I know why I chose them and I really thought that I could change people through loving them enough. It doesn't work that way... And all you women out there who say love can change anything? You know what it can do? It can get you in a lot of trouble... I'm now focused on saving myself and the children." Judd has two children from a previous marriage, and Roach's son Zac joined the family when the couple wed in 2003. "It is hard to detach overnight," says Judd, who still wears her wedding ring. "I'm healing in my own time. And so I do wear my ring. And I think what I'm teaching my kids is, this happened." And to fans, Judd has this message: "If the fans are worried about me, don't be. In this moment, this heartbeat, this breath, I'm okay. Everything's not all right, but I'm all right with everything. And when you surrender - that's where I live right now...in that serenity."

Drew to produce all-star flick

Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper and Ginnifer Goodwin are in negotiations to star in He's Just Not That Into You, an ensemble comedy to be produced by Drew Barrymore. The project is based on the best-selling book of the same title. Pieced together in the style of Traffic, the Baltimore-set story of interconnecting characters deals with the challenges of reading or misreading relationship behavior. Jennifer Connelly will play a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Bradley Cooper's character, and Ginnifer Goodwin plays a woman obsessed with Kevin Connolly's character who tries to set up accidental meetings with him. Barrymore herself will also co-star, playing a woman perpetually confused by dating, especially in the current technology-obsessed world. Production is set to begin in September.

"It is wonderful news, they are both very excited and looking forward to having their new baby," Morton's publicist said. A new database on the Huffington Post shows how much money celebs (and regular folk) have donated to candidates in the 2008 presidential race. Fundrace 2008 reveals Jennifer Aniston and Halle Berry donated $2,300 each to Barack Obama's campaign (the max donation allowed for the Democratic primary, though supporters are allowed to give $4,600 total for both the primary and general elections). Obama's other famous supporters include George Clooney, Will Smith, Tyra Banks and Jamie Foxx. Hilary Clinton has received $4,000 from Donald Trump Jr., plus $4,600 from Martha Stewart. On the Republican side, Kelsey Grammar gave $2,300 to Rudolph Guiliani.

Conspicuous by her absence since her July 24 arrest for DUI and cocaine possession, Lindsay Lohan has quietly made her way to her mom's Long Island home. Lohan reportedly flew first class to Kennedy Airport late Friday with her sister Ali. "She's doing well," Dina Lohan told the New York Post. The Georgia Rule actress is currently out on $25,000 bail and due in court on August 24.

Thandie confesses bulimia battle

Crash actress Thandie Newton admits to a brief battle with an eating disorder in the September issue of the UK mag Easy Living. "I had terrible bulimia for about a year," the British actress says. "I've still got the scars on my knuckles from where I put my fingers down my throat." Newton says her eating issues started as a 14-year-old ballet student, and were heightened after a series of abusive relationships. "I'd been involved with this guy for a long time, he was much older than me and I felt a lot of shame about my sexual relationship with him," she says. "I would have these dinners with him and then go back to the flat and I'd throw up. Then I went out with someone who was emotionally abusive, criticizing me the whole time." After moving to LA to shoot a movie, Newton sought help. "I saw a therapist for the first time," she says. "After that first session, I never threw up again. I had made the connection between shame and self-abuse."

Nicole's interview - part two

Part two of the Nicole Richie/Diane Sawyer interview aired this morning, with Richie answering questions about her rumored eating disorder and party girl image. "Do I eat is kind of an understatement," said Richie. "I eat all the time, especially now. I'm constantly hungry. I'm eating at least every hour... Just like any mother, you know, you want to take the best care of yourself, especially while you're pregnant. And I'm definitely eating healthier now, and I'm really playing by the rules. I do not drink caffeine at all, cut out sushi." And to Sawyer's questions about drugs: "No alcohol... No marijuana... No pills... Nothing... No smoking around me." Sawyer also asked whether Richie felt any responsibility for the impression that skeletal images of the star might have on young girls. "I'm really sorry for not accepting that earlier," Richie said. "It took me a while." When looking at pics of her skinny self, Richie replied, "I see a girl that is obviously going through something and is much too skinny... No, I do not have an eating disorder. I've never had an eating disorder. Ever... It's anxiety. It's stress. It's just not being careful." As to whether her size was drug related, Richie admitted, "I think it possibly could have been."

"Lindsay Lohan, who vanished after her arrest 10 days ago and is said to be confined at a California rehab - possibly the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage - was once in the running to be the new face of Louis Vuitton. But after a disastrous Elle magazine shoot two months ago, the luxury line will no longer even lend her clothes. 'Louis Vuitton had sent over some samples for her to wear in the shoot,' said a snitch. 'Lindsay kept shoving clothes into her bag, and a stylist's assistant kept getting them out of the bag, only to have Lindsay keep trying to take them. She ended up walking off with a very expensive shirt and some other items - which screwed Louis Vuitton because they were set to go to Vogue, W and Harper's Bazaar for other shoots. They were furious and kept trying to get their clothes back, but...Lindsay walked out with them and never returned calls.' The issue hits stands today, in which she's asked about the photo shoot and replies, 'I wanted everything. There was this Cartier watch, and I was like, 'What do I have to do to get this watch?' Reps for Louis Vuitton, Elle and Lohan didn't return calls."

Nicole going to same prison as Paris

Nicole Richie will serve her four-day jail sentence at a spot familiar to Paris Hilton - the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA. "[Richie's] attorney contacted us and indicated she wants to do her time there," a spokesperson for the LA County Sheriff's Department said today. The rep said no date was given for Richie's surrender, and it was not yet known whether the pregnant star would be housed in the jail's medical ward. "That's all determined by our medical staff upon her arrival," he added.

Nicole Richie has her pregnancy and boyfriend Joel Madden to thank for helping her see the bad pattern of behavior she'd established. Richie admits to dodging responsibility since she was young, telling Diane Sawyer, "It's been a pattern in my life - when I get in trouble, I try to get out of it, since I was little. I really wasn't learning anything from that. So I kept making bad decision or mistake after mistake after mistake. And I wasn't growing. I wasn't going anywhere." Of her December 12 arrest for DUI, Richie admits to smoking pot and taking Vicodin and says she was lost in an unfamiliar suburb of LA. "I was in such shock that I just stopped the car, and in two seconds, police were there and we got off the freeway," she says. "I had smoked marijuana that night. Just marijuana. I had Vicodin in my system from that day, which I take for pain." Richie said she took Vicodin for bad menstrual cramps, but didn't think it would affect her driving. When asked if she still takes it, Richie said, "No. I don't take anything now." Of her guilty plea last Friday, the tiny star said she and Madden had been watching a news segment about drunken driving when she realized the seriousness of what she'd done. "I owe this baby my life. I owe this baby everything and I have a responsibility now," she said of her nearly four-month pregnancy. "Besides being responsible for myself, I'm now responsible for someone else. And I have to set the right examples. I have to really be someone that I would want my child to look up to." Richie took five pregnancy tests but says she didn't truly believe she was pregnant until she heard the heartbeat. She and Madden say they are going to try to "hold out" until it is birth to find out the sex of the baby.

Gwen to tone down show for Muslims

Gwen Stefani has agreed to respect local customs and not wear revealing costumes for her upcoming concert in Malaysia. After protests from Muslim students about her sexy outfits, the show's producer said Stefani will follow the local code of ethics for foreign artists, which says female artists must cover up from the to top of the chest to the knees including the shoulders. No jumping, shouting, hugging, kissing or throwing of objects on stage or at the audience is allowed. The National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students, which counts 10,000 members, say Stefani's standard show clashes with Islamic values. "Her performance and her attire are not suitable for our culture. It promotes a certain degree of obscenity and will encourage youth to emulate the western lifestyle," said the union's president. "The concert should be stopped." senior official of the country's Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry said the concert will go on but that enforcement officers would meet with Stefani beforehand to remind her of local guidelines and monitor her show: "There is no problem so far. [The promoter] has told us what clothes she will wear for the concert."

Britney's "cousin" aspires to pop stardom

Where has Britney Spears's former constant companion and rumored "cousin" been of late? Turns out, she's left the popstar's side to work on a singing career of her own. Alli Sims updated her website this week to include her first song, a cover of On My Own from Les Miserables. "She heard my songs on the laptop and was like, 'I love this song! This is you singing?'" Sims says of Spears. "She has always been supportive." Of the popstar's oft-questioned parenting skills, Sims says, "She's a wonderful mom and she's so hands-on... Britney loves those babies to death. And they adore her... I love her, she's beautiful inside and out. We're still great friends." Of her music, the aspiring singer says, "I don't dance, I'm not pop. I have a more bluesy voice, more Norah Jones-ish. I don't want to appeal to just my age group and younger." Sims moved to LA and worked as an assistant to wedding planner Mindy Weiss before hooking up with Spears. "I was just doing that for a little while, and we had a great time together," she says. "I hope everything falls into place, and maybe by January I will have a lot of things under my belt and get to release something. I just want to do what I love. [Music] is my passion."

Actor Chris O'Donnell announced on the Today show Wednesday that his wife is expecting their fifth child. When asked about his four children, O'Donnell replied, "Another on the way," and high-fived host Ann Curry. "Yeah, we're just starting to figure out how it works. I think I know why this is happening, but we're really excited about it." O'Donnell has been married to Caroline Fentress since 1997. Their four other children are Lily, 7, Chip, 6, Charlie, 4, and Finley, 16 months.

Mel B files suit to establish Murphy as baby daddy

Melanie Brown filed a petition in Superior Court on Wednesday to legally establish Eddie Murphy as the father of her four-month-old daughter Angel. The Spice Girl also intends to seek sole custody and a reasonable amount of child support from Murphy. "I am here today for one reason and one reason only - her name is Angel," Brown said. "Angel is my baby and Eddie's. She will always know that she was planned and wanted by both of us." Despite the DNA test results released last month proving Murphy is the father, Brown's lawyer said in a statement that the test "established paternity but paternity has not been legally acknowledged" and that Murphy has shown "shocking and appalling" behavior.

Did Britney make a death threat?

Britney Spears has been accused of threatening two photographers after they took pictures of her leaving a Vegas spa last week. Spears's bodyguard was involved in a scuffle with two paparazzos at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel when the popstar allegedly yelled, "I am going to kill you!" at one of the photogs. Cesar Julia Camera, Spears's strongarm, is accused of throwing one of the photographers to the ground and punching and kicking him until pulled off by security. Afterward, Spears allegedly threw a baby bottle at the downed man. According to a statement by the photogs' lawyers, Spears made the threat in front of several hotel guests and bystanders and advised the paparazzo to get a restraining order because she was going to kill him or hire someone to do so.
