Brangelina to attend TomKat nuptials at Mussolini base

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will not be married at George Clooney's villa in Italy, as widely speculated in the media. The high-profile wedding will reportedly take place at Italian dictator Benito Mussolini's former World War II base by Lake Garda. A British newspaper claims Holmes fell in love with the property - which is now operating as the exclusive Villa Feltrinelli hotel - on a trip to the region earlier this month. "Katie recently visited with Victoria [Beckham] and fell in love with it," an insider said. "It's ideal for her and Tom as it's hidden away by dense greenery on the landward side, while the view on the oppposite site overlooking the lake is stunning. Katie and Victoria were made aware that Mussolini used it as a base during the war, but seemed more interested that the glamorous likes of Grace Kelly and Isadora Duncan had stayed there." The event's guest list is said to include Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, among other celeb attendees.

Tori and Dean's reality show greenlighted

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's reality TV pitch has been given the green light. The show, which will follow the newlyweds in a quest to buy and renovate a bed-and-breakfast while expecting the birth of their first child, will air in six half-hour episodes on the Oxygen network starting next spring. According to the show's producer, Spelling and McDermott "may be actors, but they're also very entrepreneurial. They wanted to create a real business." The show's finale is expected to coincide with the birth of the couple's baby in March.

KFed fails to sell tix

Oooh, big shocker - Kevin Federline is having a hard time selling tickets to his live shows. Sources say that so few $20 tickets have been sold for KFed's November 4 NYC show that "we may just cancel it. New Yorkers are clearly not fans of 'PopoZao.'" Mr. Spears's Cleveland show has also reportedly been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Marcia Cross in legal battle over nude photos

Mom-to-be Marcia Cross is trying to stop naked pictures of herself from being sold and published. Two hundred clothes-less pics of Cross were reportedly discovered by a catering company hired to remove garbage from the Desperate Housewives star's LA home. The company has hired an agent who plans to sell the shots, and told the New York Daily News, "There are some pictures of her showering outside. She looks absolutely gorgeous. And yes, the carpet does match the curtains." Attorneys for Cross say the photos were thrown out by mistake and insist they still belong to the star and her husband, but the catering company's rep disagrees. "The pictures were not stolen," he said. "When you throw something away, you forfeit that property. We recognize the copyright issue, but U.S. copyright law stops at the border." The agent went on to say Cross's tax returns were also found in the trash. "I'm not looking to mortify Ms. Cross. I just want the most money for my client. I know how much she made, but out of respect for Ms. Cross, I won't discuss it." Yeah, you sound like a real class act there buddy.

Oprah gives away $300,000

Oprah Winfrey is having another giveaway show today, but this one's a little different than her "favorite things" or car giveaways. Winfrey is giving the "gift of giving back," handing out $1000 debit cards to her 300 audience members to be used to donate to charitable causes. "You're going to open your hearts, you're going to be really creative, and you're going to spend it all at once on one stranger or spend a dollar on every person," Winfrey told her audience. "Imagine the love and kindness you can spread with $1000." The cards were sponsored by the Bank of America.
