Ashlee's love triangle

Ashlee Simpson faced ex-boyfriend Ryan Cabrera's new love, Lisa Origliasso, at an MTV press conference in Sydney. Origliasso is half of the band The Veronicas, who are set to perform at the awards show Wednesday night. Simpson and The Veronicas posed for pictures, but the situation backstage was reportedly tense. When asked by a reporter if there would be any trouble with her beau's ex, Origliasso replied, "Hopefully not, I'm just going with Ryan, so, whatever." Simpson apparently didn't know Cabrera would be attending, as was obvious in her response of, "I'm sorry, did you say Ryan's out here?" when informed by reporters of his appearance.
