Carnie Wilson revealed that she replaced her food addiction with alcohol, and checked into rehab for alcohol abuse. "I didn't feel like myself and I turned to alcohol because I couldn't turn to food anymore. Alcohol numbed me for a while, then it got scary. I needed to get into recovery," the Wilson Philips singer said.

Carnie Wilson has an irrepressible generosity of spirit. It should surprise no one that confronting and disclosing her transfer addiction with such candor will help many on the same journey to recovery.
