Osmond daughters's shocking MySpace profiles

Marie Osmond was shocked to discover that the National Enquirer discovered sexually explicit material on her own daughters' MySpace profiles. Osmond's older daughter, 18-year-old Jessica, posted that she is bi-sexual and wants to have sex "as many times as possible, while 16-year-old Rachael identifies herself as a "slut" and "whore" who has fantasies about David Bowie. Osmond released a statement to the Enquirer saying, "I am saddened by some of the choices that two of our children have made. The insidious potential for harm from adolescent Internet sites like MySpace.com only exacerbates these kinds of problems. If my being a celebrity figure is good for anything, let it be as a voice of warning to other parents that no matter how protective we think we may have been with our children in the past, we need to become more knowledgeable and even more vigilant now in order to protect them."

I don't think the National Enquirer is the most reliable source of information. If the source was People I might believe it, but coming from National Enquirer I'm sure it's made up.

that's not myspace's fault. that's her own damn fault. her daughters called themselves sluts and whores, not myspace. its the way she raised them that made them do that, nd it pisses me off when people blame tv, music, or the internet.

Yeah, it's easy to blame the parents for everything, too. Some people are simply easily influenced, and if you think the media has nothing to do with it, then you have a lot to learn.

Yes, but it's up to the parents to police what their children do on the internet. She's saddened? Get off your complacent butt, quit blaming Myspace and parent.

It's not myspace that makes young people say what they do. It's the young people.

Young and old need to take responsibility.

Those kids said what they did becuse they wanted to. Myspace didn't "make them." It's not Myspace's fault. It's the daughters fault-if it's true.

so where is the link to their pages!?!?!

But, she DIDN'T blame MySpace. Read that quote again. She's very careful to say that she's disappointed in the decisions her daughter made -- and then added that places like MySpace only exacerbate the problem because it makes the choices easier. MySpace didn't cause the problem. She admits that her daughters did.

Not, mind you, that wiping MySpace.com off the face of the planet and the web wouldn't be for the greater good of all mankind. The place is a cesspool with some of the most painful and garish web design ever seen.

LOL, cesspool?? How is it any different from the blogging world, where you can post anything you want, at any age you want?

I love Myspace for the simple reason that it helps me find & keep in touch with high school classmates that I haven't seen in years. And no, I don't have half naked pics of me spread-eagled on a bear skin rug. I'm smarter than that & it's a shame that an 18 year old isn't as smart.

It's not the fault of myspace or any other internet site. It's not the parents' fault either (IT'S NOT THE WAY MARIE RAISED THEM). It is the individual themselves that are at fault. Every person has their own personality, their likes and dislikes. They choose their own paths. It is up to the parent to guide them the best way they can, once a child realizes he can make up his own mind, that's when he makes his own decisions takes the path he chose in his life.

I am sooo tired of people blaming everything on everyone and everything else but the person themselves. True, the media does not help but why does the media dish the dirt? Because people WANT to read and see the dirt. One of my favorite comedians, JIMMY SKA, said it best.."This is the HATER GENERATION and it's time to change that."

Stop hating on others. No one wants drama, yet they create it. No one wants negativity, again they create it. You're all a bunch of hypocrits. Stop blaming others and for Earth's sake, STOP THE HATE.

So STOP Blaming everyone else for the things you do or say. YOU make your life as it is, YOU choose to do the things you do, not the parents, not the internet and not the media.

I went to college with Donnie and Marie Osmond; they're nice people. Everyone knows that raising a lot of children is difficult. I hope that Marie's brood settles down and achieves their dreams. It's a new world out there. I'm not as goody-two shoes as I was at Brigham Young University anymore either. So, stop hating and show love for yourself and others. I'm not going to sit in judgment.

Someone posted saying they didn't believe it because it was in the Nation Enquirer. That person needs to check their sources before they make such statements. Marie Osmond made a statement that they printed. If it weren't true, she wouldn't have wasted her time.

Wow okay its true the media does play a key role in influencing the minds of the younger demographic, we'd be kind of stupid to think that the media didnt play some sort of role, although the parents also need to take responsibility over their child's actions in my opinion, i find that myspace does not promote such actions from teenagers or in any way pressure young girls to place such pieces of information on their profiles, sure maybe they got ideas from other people but myspace wasnt created for the purpose of allowing teenagers to sell themselves out like that and i think parents need to realize that as well and take some responsibility for their kids, in the end we're all just stupid teenagers who think we're hot shit and most of us get out of that phase although its good to be educated as to what's appropriate and what isnt, so calm down woman and put some blame on yourself

PS that Osmond biatch pisses me off

=)

Any idiot can get on myspace.com and pretend they're someone else. Anyone who thinks that just because the National en liarer says something that it's true is truly the idiot, as is anyone who believes things posted on retarded blog sites such as myspace.com.

You can sure tell the people who don't have kids by their comments. You can "parent" all you want, but at the end of the day your kids make their own decisions -- good or bad.
As far as Donny and Marie going to college at the same time, lots of people of ALL ages go to college. The fact that they are two years apart doesn't affect when they went to college.

All of you who "feel" she is blaming myspace.com, check what she really said, which was: "I am saddened by some of the choices that two of our children have made." This statement places the blame solely with her daughters and their behavior. In order for you to sound intelligent when you post, make sure you understand what you are posting about.

Like the best world-class whores, she and her daughters owned up to it. She secretly likes that her daughters are self-professed sluts; and, she is living a vicarious life through them. I respect these fine Hookers for what they've done. This shall inspire other MILF-moms and slut/whore/wanna-get-banged-hard daughters to be themselves. Props to ya, White Sluts.

all three of them love it up the butt. they need a three-way-dildo and should get naked on all fours, in a triad-pattern... and bump butts on that 3-way-dildo, moaning, female-grunting, and panting... child calling for momma, momma calling for child, all in between screams of "aww fuck yeah," "ungh ungh ungh," and "oh gawd, ungh, ungh!"

What difference does that make? Depends on what he was going to school for

If you bring your kids up in some wacko cult like the Branch Davidians or the Mormons you can hardly expect them t grow up normal.

I ran into this site by accident. I do not usually waste my time on other peoples options. I noticed that some of you blame the parents, others of you blame the kids. The truth be told, both are to blame. To come right down to it you are who you are because of how your parents interacted with you and also how you interacted with your friends. (society) But the final decision of what we do with our lives comes down to us as individuals.

i think that marie did the right thing by saying that parents need to be more protective, kids today are just to careless. if it were my daughters i would be very disappointed in their choices.

Instead of using celebrity status to make the internet safer, why not use mom status to teach your children not to do stuff like that on the internet.
