US media sources are reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie plan to adopt an older male child. A source told a US magazine the couple will "adopt an [older] child to support the idea that people should adopt more children, not just babies."

if it were as easy for normal people to adopt from other countries, more people would. It is much easier to do when you are extremely wealthy and a celebrity it seems. Maybe brangelina can work on how to make it easy for regular folks to adopt from these devasted countries because I know a lot of people who would take these kids with open arms.
There are tons of American kids waiting for adoption. Nice to see that these two rich Americans don't give a shite about them.

That is so true! I know a lot of great, average, hard-working people who would adopt internationally in a minute if they could afford to. We need celebrities, such as Brad and Angie, to bring attention to the amount of money these countries, adoption agencies, and lawyers $make$ in the international adoption business. The cost can range from 12,000 to 30,000 dollars easily.
I dont know if anyone could adopt from any country, then why dont they. If it was true that celebrities find it easier, is that because, they have more money. And if so, is it all about money? Because I thought it was all about how much love and devotion you have to offer.
sadly, love and devotion has a dollar amount. I a few families that have adopted from Korea. They paid alot but nevertheless, they love their child unconditionally
