Avril and Deryck's wedding imminent

Canadian pop couple Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have reportedly moved up their wedding date from their original August 26 plans. The couple's friends and family have been asked to book their plane tickets to Santa Barbara immediately, after intense media scrutiny forced the pair to reconsider their intended date. Lavigne's publicist has not confirmed the reports, saying, "I cannot comment on the personal lives of our artists." Lavigne's bridal shower was reportedly held last Friday, when the songstress was spotted out with friends in a veil.
