McPhee still absent from Idol tour

Katharine McPhee has still not rejoined her Idol co-stars on their tour, since leaving on July 5th with severe bronchitis and laryngitis. "Singing a lot every night or every other night takes a wear on these kids," Randy Jackson told Access Hollywood when asked about McPhee's continued absence. "So she's trying to get her tour legs underneath her, but she'll be fine." McPhee herself has released a statement saying, "I need to follow my doctor's orders to recuperate and reunite with the rest of the Idols."
