Jessica Simpson is doing her best to personally fix the damage caused by her PR rep . The Public Affair singer has been calling the editors of weekly celeb mags to apologize for her publicist's spinning of her friendship with John Mayer into a full-blown relationship. The calls to editors are reportedly being "supervised" by a publicist from Simpson's record label. The Dukes of Hazzard star has been thanking the mags for supporting her and her career and telling the editors she is interested in being more direct in her dealings with them.

Give me a break, Blamming your PR guy for this mess...I don't think it is believable that you did not give him not only your APPROVAL, but the GO AHEAD. Your just looking for the next soul to boost your career.....
She didn't blame her PR guy nor did she fire him, her dad did. According to the Enquirer, her and her dad are at odds because of the firing of Rob Shuter, and his constant meddling in her private life...
Why is it that the more coverage there is of Nick and Vanessa, there's more pics of Jess being drunk in public? She obeyed Pappa Joe, got rid of Nick 'cause Joe wants to be the only man in her life, and the world is NOT her oyster as Pappa Joe promised it would be if only she got rid of Nick.
Jess should be gettin' rid of Pappa Joe, or she'll never have lasting success with any man.
Sorry, Jess....you can't put husbands on a shelf when you tire of them, and then expect them to be there at your convenience..........unlike what Pappa Joe says, the world does NOT revolve around the fu**in* Simpson family.
