A bodyguard for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie assaulted a photographer as he tried to snap a shot of the couple at their hotel in Pune, India. A horde of photographers and reporters have been camped outside Le Meridian hotel all week in the hopes of getting a story or picture, and the incident happened when the megastar couple left the hotel yesterday. One of their security guards grabbed a photographer by the neck and verbally assaulted him as the paparazzo attempted to take a pic. Video of the encounter was broadcast on an Indian news channel. When interviewed, the photog said, "He said if I took his pictures he would kill me. I couldn't breathe. He had his fingers on my windpipe and he knew what he was doing." Two Indian reporters also say they have been threatened by the same security guy.

These gossip sites never seem to come out on the side of the celebrities when there is a fracas with the loathesome and often insanely rude paprazzi.
I guess they have a symbiotic relationship and cannot bite the hand that feeds them.
