Kidman in Kosovo

Nicole Kidman began her first tour as a United Nations goodwill ambassador yesterday in Kosovo. The Oscar-winning actress arrived in the country's capital after attending the premiere of Fur at the Rome Film Festival. "I'm here...to learn so that I can help your country at this crucial, crucial time for the future," Kidman said. "To meet people, hear their stories and educate myself, and I suppose be a voice for you if you need it." The Moulin Rouge star is scheduled to travel to Djakovia today, an area that was hit hard by the 1998-1999 war.
