Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner have ended their short relationship, according to Richie's spokesperson. "Nicole and Brody are no longer dating but remain close friends," her rep told US mag. A source close to the celeb offspring couple says the split was initiated by Richie. "Nicole just wants to be single right now," said the source. "She felt it was a mistake to jump into a relationship so soon after her breakup with [DJ] AM."

I so called this. They were a fake, just for publicity relationship anyway. Ted Casablanca confirmed it in this week's blind vice for his column. I knew they could never make it to 3 months, b/c Brody's gonna want to start getting with someone....b/c he sure as hell wasn't getting with Nicole!
