Tonight Show regular and standup comedian Richard Jeni died of an apparent suicide yesterday in West Hollywood. Police answered a call at Jeni's West Hollywood home Saturday morning from his girlfriend, who said, "My boyfriend shot himself in the face." Jeni was found alive but gravely injured and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. He appeared in The Mask with Jim Carrey, Everybody Hates Chris, Married:With Children and various game shows.
