There could be an unusual role in Tom Cruise's future - Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. According to the Palm Beach Post, the 45-year-old star of Misson: Impossible and the upcoming Valkyrie is now eyeing the role of the sexual revolutionary in a biopic set to start filming next year. X-Men director Brett Ratner landed the flick after Oliver Stone lost it and has sent the script to Cruise. Word is that Cruise is tickled by the project, although no decision has been made. "A lot of people consider Tom for a lot of roles," a Cruise publicist said. Ewwwwwwwww. Let's hope this is just a rumor.

I personally make it a point NOT to see any movie with Tom Cruise. It would be a shame to have Tom play Hugh; I admire Hugh, but not enough to overlook how much Tom disgusts me.
