Nick Lachey took girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo home to Cincinnati to meet his folks over the weekend. "Nick likes to go home and spend Labor Day with his parents and brother, and he brought Vanessa," said a source. "They're in a good place."
In other Nick news, looks like he and ex-wife Jessica Simpson have managed to avoid a nasty divorce battle by reaching a settlement about their finances. Of the $36 million the couple allegedly amassed during their marriage, Lachey is entitled to half. However, the What's Left of Me singer has agreed to walk away with a lesser amount.

She loves him!!!!As far as the divorce settlement.. He took the High Road ...He knows money isn't everything. Even though he was due half.

Vanessa Minnillo has made her way to Hollywood all on her own. She's a success story. With her exotic beauty, winning personality, and intelligence, she's very capable of moving further with or without Nick. They do make a great couple though. More power to them!
