Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes arrived in Rome today with their daughter Suri, as well as Cruise's children Isabella and Connor. The family has set up camp at the 5-star Hotel Hassler Roma to begin preparations for the much-anticipated TomKat wedding this Saturday. Private jets chauffering star guests including John Travolta and Kelly Preston, Kirstie Alley, Victoria Beckham, and Jada Pinkett and Will Smith are expected to start arriving in the ancient city as early as tomorrow. Before the big event, the happy couple are said to be hosting a lavish party for 250 guests at the Dal Bolognese in Piazza del Popolo, according to reports.

Totally put out about this. Now, there'll be thousands of people in my favorite piazza. Makes sense though, since Popolo is minutes from the Spanish Steps.
