Club Paris cuts its ties from the socialite

Two nightclubs named after Paris Hilton are being stripped of any reference to their namesake. Fred Khalilian "fired" Hilton and is changing the meaning of the names of his two bars, called Club Paris, due the the socialite's lack of professionalism and her repeated failing to show up for scheduled appearances at the clubs. "She's created a circus for herself," the bar owner says. "It's all about, 'How has she screwed up now?'" Khalilian won't actually be changing the names of his clubs, because of the cred they have established, but says the "Paris" in Club Paris now stands for the city in France rather than the socialite. Hilton's rep says neither he nor his client have heard from Khalilian, saying, "I'm certainly disappointed to learn of Fred's unfortunate comments. We shall address his statements at the appropriate time."
