Christie's emergency back surgery

Christie Brinkley was rushed into emergency surgery last night for a back injury she sustained on a recent ski trip with her children. "She needed surgery, and thank god she got it," said the former model's rep. "She sounds great. She's feeling a million times better... The surgery was successful, and she will be out of the hospital Friday." The details of Brinkley's injury have not been disclosed. The model mom will miss daughter Alexa Ray's Manhattan concert tonight.
